Brian Bowen’s hat trick on Saturday night helped power the B’s to a sweep of the Islanders Hockey Club in the USPHL playoffs.

On Friday afternoon, in game one, the B’s scored a 6-1 thumping of the Isles.

The B’s now square off with the Jersey Hitmen this week in the USPHL championship series.

The Founder’s Cup battle gets underway this week at NESC at the same time as the Beantown Spring Classic. Last year the Beantown and championship series brought out over 100 college and NHL coaches and scouts.
